This website uses a limited number of cookies to make your browsing experience easier. A “cookie” is a small text file that the site transfers to your computer’s hard drive for the duration of the session or permanently. “Cookies” allow anonymous information about your actions and preferences on the site to be saved (for example, font size, language and other settings). “Cookies” are used for several purposes – functional (to make the website function properly), analytical (to anonymously track traffic to the website) and marketing (to improve promotions related to the site).
When created, cookies usually do not contain any personal information. They don’t scan your computer. Any personal information they may contain is the result of your own contribution to the website form. When a cookie stores personal information, that information is encoded in such a way that it is unreadable to any third party who accidentally accesses your cookie folder. The only computer that can read and decode the information is the server that created the cookie.
What cookies do we use on this website?
Session cookies
These are temporary cookies that remain in your web browser’s cookie file only for the duration of your visit and are deleted when you close the browser. The purpose of these cookies is functional.
Your cookie choice itself is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, which means it is never sent to our server. Clearing your browsing data forgets it, and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
"Cookies" from third parties
Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, which set their own cookies or similar storage. We have no control over what those companies store. These are the ones we use:
- Cloudflare – protects the site and checks that the NIS2 assessment is being filled in by a person rather than an automated script. These are strictly necessary: without them the form cannot be submitted, and they are set whatever you choose in the cookie banner.
- Calendly – the booking calendar in the “Meet with our Experts” section. It is not loaded when the page opens. It loads only once you ask for it – by choosing to allow it, or by clicking to book an appointment – and it then sets its own cookies in order to run the booking.
- Google Analytics – measures how the site is used, so we can improve it. Loaded only if you accept analytics cookies, and its cookies are deleted if you later decline.
We also link to our profiles on social networks from the footer. Those are ordinary links and set nothing while you are here; they only apply their own policies once you click one and leave this site.
What to do if you do not want cookies?
- Do not click “I agree” in the box informing you about the use of cookies.
- Block future cookies through your browser settings. You can also delete existing ones.
- Through your operating system (eg Windows, Mac), delete all cookies from the correct folder.
